Our Beliefs

  • Salvation: Forgiveness of sins and a restored relationship with God are received through personal repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.(Romans10:13-15; Luke 24:47; John 3:3)

  • Baptism in the Holy Spirit: A special experience subsequent to salvation that empowers believers for witness and service.(Acts 1:8; Luke 24:49)

  • Divine Healing: Physical healing is provided for through the suffering and atonement of Christ and remains available to believers today. (Isaiah 53:4,5; Matthew 8:16,17; James 5:14-16)

  • The Second Coming of Christ: The imminent return and rapture of the Church precede Christ's physical reign on earth. (1Thessalonians 4:16-17; Mathew 24:27; Revelation 1:7)

  • The Bible: Scripture is viewed as the inspired, infallible, and authoritative rule of faith and conduct. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:21)

  • Speaking in Tongues: The initial physical evidence of being baptized in the Holy Spirit is speaking in other tongues. (Acts 2:4)

  • The Trinity: Adherence to historic Trinitarian theology, recognizing one God existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.(Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9)

  • Ordinances: Practice of water baptism by total immersion as a public declaration of faith, and regular observance of the Lord's Supper (Communion) as a memorial. (Matthew 28:19; 1Corinthians 11:26)

  • Sanctification: A progressive, lifelong process of separating from evil and drawing closer to Christ. (Romans 12:1,2; 1Thessalonians 5:23; Romans 12:1,2)
